Artwork Requirements

Uploaded Artwork Prints As-Is

Unless you request design help, your file will be sent directly to the printer. We are not responsible for any issues with the artwork file itself.

Provide Only the Artwork You Want Printed

Do not include notes, guides, or extra copies in your file. What you upload is what we print. (Multiple copies/layers are only allowed for Gang Sheet uploads).

Use Hard Edges, Not Soft/Faded Edges

For the best results, use hard, defined edges. Faded or soft edges (glows, shadows, etc.) will be printed with a hard edge of white ink underneath, which may not look as intended on the final garment.

Remove All Backgrounds

Any background in your file will be printed. To avoid printing a solid box around your design, please submit a file with a transparent background.

NOTE: JPEG files do not support transparency. Use file types like PNG or PDF to preserve a transparent background.

Design in CMYK Color Mode

Use CMYK color values for the closest color match. Files submitted in RGB or Pantone colors will be converted to CMYK, which can cause significant color shifts.

Dark colors like navy, maroon, and dark brown often print darker than they appear on screen. Consider lightening these colors in your design to compensate.

Convert All Text to Outlines/Curves

To prevent font issues, please convert all text and fonts to outlines or curves before saving your file. This applies mainly to vector files like PDF, AI, and EPS.

Minimum Line Thickness is 0.02 in (0.5mm)

Any part of your artwork thinner than 0.02 inches (0.5mm or about 2 pixels at 300dpi) may not print or transfer correctly. For best results, we recommend making lines thicker than this minimum.

Set Artboard to Artwork Size

Ensure your artboard or canvas is the same size as your artwork. Extra empty space around the design will cause it to be scaled down and printed smaller than you intended.

Do Not Mirror Your Design

We automatically mirror all artwork before printing. Please submit your design as you want it to appear on the final product.

What to Expect

Printed Colors May Not Match Your Screen

Colors on your backlit screen (RGB) will always look brighter than printed colors (CMYK). We print using CMYK inks, and while we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee a perfect match to what you see on your monitor.

We Do Not Offer Color Matching

We do not match specific Pantone, spot colors, or colors from previous print runs. Color can vary slightly between batches. If color accuracy is critical, we recommend ordering a single sample to test before placing a larger order.

Consider ordering our DTF Color Chart for a physical reference of our CMYK printing capabilities.

Acceptable File Types

For the best quality, please submit high-resolution files. For raster files (like PNG), we recommend 300 DPI at the final print size.

Preferred File Types

  • PDF (Vector)
  • PNG (Raster, 300 DPI, Transparent Background)

Other Accepted Files

  • JPG / JPEG (Will have a solid background)
  • GIF
